Bound4Life AtlantaAfter 50 days of fasting and prayer for the 2004 elections in Colorado Springs, CO, a small group of prayer warriors (young and old alike) packed up their sleeping bags and hit Interstate 70 to Washington, DC. For 31 days they stood at the United States Supreme Court with the word LIFE written on a red piece of tape that covered their mouths. If you go to the Supreme Court today, you will still find a group of people standing strong with LIFE covering their mouths. Every day, through rain, snow, sun and cruel weather conditions, they stand. Bound4LIFE is a prayer and mobilization ministry made up of intercessors who stand with LIFE tape on their mouths at courthouses and abortion clinics across the nation. This is not a group of angry protesters; but rather intercessors who are making their appeal to the high court of heaven, asking God for justice to roll down like waters. Bound4LIFE seeks to mobilize 10 million young people who will wear red LIFE wristbands. These wristbands serve as a reminder of our covenant to pray for the ending of abortion. CalendarEncounter Service2/5/2012 10:00am - 12:30pmThe IHOP Atlanta Encounter Service is held twice weekly, on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. Each service is geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the city of Atlanta. Immediately following the service, there is an Information meeting for anyone desiring more information regarding IHOP Atlanta. Prophecy Rooms2/5/2012 4:30pm - 5:30pmAt IHOP Atlanta, we desire to encourage and strengthen believers through the prophetic ministry. We have prophecy teams that are trained to hear the heart of the Lord for people and to minister His words of encouragement, edification, and exhortation (1 Cor 14:3). It is our prayer that believers will be strengthened in their faith and have a clearer understanding of how God feels and thinks about them after receiving ministry in the prophecy rooms. If you desire to encounter God's love for you in practical way, we encourage you to sign up for a ministry time in our prophecy rooms. The prophecy rooms are going to be open on Fridays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 4:30-5:30. Appointments can be made 15 minutes prior. They are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Appointments typically last 10 minutes and are recorded for your convenience. Global Bridegroom Fast2/6/2012 to 2/8/2012The Global Bridegroom Fast is a monthly, solemn assembly of believers all over the globe in unified holy abandonment to Jesus for three days. We are calling believers worldwide to join together in unified prayer and fasting for revival motivated by experiencing love for Jesus. This is not simply an event, but a new lifestyle in the grace of God. Anyone in any place can participate in the Global Bridegroom Fast. At IHOP Atlanta, we set aside these three days as corporate fasting days for anyone who wants to participate.
Staff Intercession Meeting2/7/2012 4:00pm - 6:00pmTuesday is a designated prayer and fasting day for IHOP Atlanta staff and family. We have scheduled intercession meetings at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and midnight. We ask that all staff make it a priority to attend the weekly Tuesday 4 p.m. intercession meeting, as this is the one time weekly that we come together as a community for worship and intercession. Full-time staff are required to attend the 4 p.m. and an additional intercession meeting on Tuesday. Part-time staff are required to attend only the 4 p.m. intercession meeting.
