The IHOP Atlanta Encounter Service is held twice weekly, on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. Each service is geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the city of Atlanta. Isaiah was not only a prophetic voice to his generation, but also a powerful messianic and eschatological theologian. He is the most frequently quoted prophetic voice in the Scriptures. In this course, we will explore the vast amount of detail and prophetic insight concerning the nature of prophecy, justice to the poor, Messiah as the Suffering Servant, the End of the Age, the Harlot Babylon, the Antichrist, the Day of the Lord, Israel's example to the nations, and the Millennial Kingdom. Week after week, we will unravel the mysteries of Isaiah’s prophecies through considering their historical context as well as the future implications of the many prophecies yet to be fulfilled.

Tuesday is a designated prayer and fasting day for IHOP Atlanta staff and family. We have scheduled intercession meetings at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and midnight. We ask that all staff make it a priority to attend the weekly Tuesday 4 p.m. intercession meeting, as this is the one time weekly that we come together as a community for worship and intercession. Full-time staff are required to attend the 4 p.m. and an additional intercession meeting on Tuesday. Part-time staff are required to attend only the 4 p.m. intercession meeting. This meeting is open to the public as are all IHOP Atlanta prayer meetings

God intended that we know Him intimately through Bible study as we commune with His Spirit, but most Christians open the Bible and don’t know even where to begin. In this course, we will gain necessary tools that will turn your Bible reading into a time that will unlock life-changing revelation and lead to greater intimacy with God. We will develop solid hermeneutics, discover the Hebraic mindset, and discern how western logic influences our comprehension of God's Truth. We will learn different Bible study methods, how to properly use commentaries, lexicons, and other extra-biblical sources, and how to utilize technology to aid organization and further biblical understanding. You will exit this course with a renewed hunger for the Word of God and a personal plan that directs your study time in a productive manner, as you use the tools and methods that work for you.
