IHOP-Atlanta

On January 29th, 2010 IHOP Atlanta hosted a Leadership Summit, gathering leaders from around the nation to receive instruction and impartation for building a house of prayer. God visited that weekend in an unusual way. Many were touched powerfully by the Holy Spirit. Since then we have held extra services every Friday - Sunday. The Lord has continued to pour out His Spirit in a marked way, with many receiving physical and emotional healing. Because the move of the Spirit has continued to intensify we are extending the meetings indefinitely. As long as the Lord is moving, we want to receive all that He desires to release.

We realize that the work the Lord is doing in our nation right now is much broader than what is happening at IHOP Atlanta. He is pouring out His Spirit in Kansas City, as well as many other places around the nation, especially college campuses. We believe that this outpouring is part of an awakening the Lord desires to bring to our nation. We feel that what is happening at IHOP Atlanta is one part of this broader awakening.

Join us as Awakening Services continue at IHOP Atlanta every Friday & Saturday at 7 p.m. and every Sunday night at 6 p.m.. Come hungry and bring those who are in need of a touch from God.


PROPHECY AND HEALING ROOMS
Prophecy and Healing Rooms will be open one hour before the awakening meetings begin. Prophetic and healing ministry is available on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like ministry, please arrive early and sign up in the foyer of IHOP Atlanta.

 

TESTIMONIES FROM THE AWAKENING
The Lord is moving in powerful ways during the awakening meetings. Many are experiencing physical and emotional healing. Others are being refreshed by the love of God. Here are some of the testimonies from the most recent rawakening meetings:

Physical Healing: Torn Tricep, 8/21/10
I tore my tricep a few days ago. It was extremely swollen and had limited mobility. I received prayer for healing and the Lord touched me. I gained full range of motion and the swelling significantly reduced before my eyes. I also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit!

Physical Healing: Allergic Reaction to a Bee Sting, 8/21/10
I received multiple bee stings on my right index finger. My finger began to swell about two times its normal size. It turned dark red and purple with intense pain. Nothing relieved the pain or the swelling. My daughter came home from an Awakening Service at IHOP Atlanta. She prayed for me and I felt electricity throughout my body as the power of God touched me. Afterward, I felt no pain. Two days later, I was completely healed. --Mary

Freedom from Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, and the Pain of Sexual Abuse, 8/20/10
I've been struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts for as long as I can remember. I've felt a sense of worthlessness due to the sexual abuse that happened to me throughout my childhood. I've experienced feelings of abandonment since both of my parents passed away, leaving me an orphan. During the Awakening Service, God moved powerfully upon me! In the past, I have struggled with seeing God as a Father and as someone that loves me because I always viewed men as 'abusers' and 'molesters,' which led me to never trust God fully. Coming to IHOP Atlanta awakened me to God's love! Since coming to the Awakening services, I have stopped using anti-depressant medication and have never felt happier or more complete in my life. I feel the Holy Spirit within me and I don't think about suicide anymore. I'm now aware that God loves me! Praise God, I am finally walking in freedom! --Helen

Physical Healing: Severe Anemia, 8/20/10
I have had severe anemia from a uterine polyp for the six months to a year. I have dealt with anemia to some extend for most of my life. During the Awakening Service, a word of knowledge was given about God healing blood disorders. I received prayer. I had previously been healed of the uterine polyp and I believed God had touched me and healed me of the anemia as well. When I went to my doctor for a checkup, he said I was completely fine. When God heals, He heals completely! --Michele

Physical Healing: Migraines, 8/20/10
I have suffered from severe migraines since 1995. I have been under the care of neurologists and on different medications for this for years. I have had CT scans and MRIs. A word of knowledge was given during the Awakening Service about pressure and pain on the left side of the eye. I was experiencing pain in that exact location as wells as the base of my brain. I went up for prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit fell on me. The pain I was experiencing was gone instantly. --Monica

Physical Healing: Hernia, 8/20/10
I have had a hernia and dull pain in my stomach for a couple of months now. A word of knowledge was given during the Awakening Service last weekend about God healing hernias. As the night went by the hernia began to gradually go away. The next day, I noticed it was completely gone and I didn't have any pain in my stomach. --Natasha

Physical Healing: Jaw, 8/20/10
For over a year now, my jaw would pop whenever I opened and closed my mouth. Someone prayed for me during the Awakening Service tonight. They then asked me to share what God was doing in my life. As I shared what He was doing, my jaw was completely healed! --Savannah

Silent Siege

We are meeting the first and third Saturday of the month from 11am - 1pm.

Bound for Life Atlanta Silent Sieges take place at the GA State Capitol in downtown ATL on Washington St. A silent siege is a two-hour prayer meeting where intercessors stand in front of a local abortion clinic, wearing red life tape over their mouth, identifying with the silent cries of the unborn, asking God to come with justice, to end abortion, and to send revival to America. Encounter Service

The IHOP Atlanta Encounter Service is held twice weekly, on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Each service incorporates prophetic worship, Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry times. Each service is geared to call individuals to a depth of the knowledge of God, intimacy with Jesus, urgency for the hour, and the Sermon on the Mount lifestyle. Through proclamation and impartation, each service is focused on providing a place for encounter with God for the individual, as well as generating a shift in the spiritual atmosphere over the city of Atlanta. Immediately following the service, there is an Information meeting for anyone desiring more information regarding IHOP Atlanta.
Encounter Service

Global Bridegroom Fast
9/6/2010 to 9/8/2010
The Global Bridegroom Fast is a monthly, solemn assembly of believers all over the globe in unified holy abandonment to Jesus for three days. We are calling believers worldwide to join together in unified prayer and fasting for revival motivated by experiencing love for Jesus. This is not simply an event, but a new lifestyle in the grace of God. Anyone in any place can participate in the Global Bridegroom Fast. At IHOP Atlanta, we set aside these three days as corporate fasting days for anyone who wants to participate.
Staff Intercession Meeting
9/7/2010 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday is a designated prayer and fasting day for IHOP Atlanta staff and family. We have scheduled intercession meetings at 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 8 p.m., and midnight. We ask that all staff make it a priority to attend the weekly Tuesday 4 p.m. intercession meeting, as this is the one time weekly that we come together as a community for worship and intercession. Full-time staff are required to attend the 4 p.m. and an additional intercession meeting on Tuesday. Part-time staff are required to attend only the 4 p.m. intercession meeting. This meeting is open to the public as are all IHOP Atlanta prayer meetings
